On Friday the New York Times' house global warming author Andy Revkin, reporting on the breaking (Revkin would prefer it be braking) global Climategate scandal, said repercussions "continue to unfold" and that "there's much more to explore, of course."
So what has Sherlock Andy, Warmth Detector focused on since then? Yesterday he noted a study on Antarctic ice loss that comes with "substantial uncertainty" and a "CO2toon," and then he elevated from Reader Comments at his original post the views of University of Chicago climatologist Raymond Pierrehumbert, who bemoaned the CRU "cyber-attack."

This is so bad on so many levels. Lying scientists, complicit NY Times, hundreds of billions if not trillions of dollars at stake.
Can you say, hypocrisy?

From the WSJ article:
However, we do now have hundreds of emails that give every appearance of testifying to concerted and coordinated efforts by leading climatologists to fit the data to their conclusions while attempting to silence and discredit their critics. In the department of inconvenient truths, this one surely deserves a closer look by the media, the U.S. Congress and other investigative bodies.
No worries there, Senator Inhofe is already on it. )But you can count on the media spinning or downplaying it.)

Pretty "amazing" how little interest is being shown by "journalists" on this topic. Imagine the tables turned and this being a collusion between a WSJ journalist to silence such an explosive set of emails however obtained.

Global warming is a scientific topic. It should be subject to rigorous scientific discussion and debate, and any conclusion (or lack thereof) should be reached by scientists.
How it EVER became a political issue is beyond my scope of comprehension.

The phrase, "follow the money" comes to mind. Hard to separate politics and money. Harder still on a global basis.

There is that issue.
I got a case of "Al Gore" on the brain as I read the seed.

I see that there are still no defenders of the "Great Fear". Very interesting.
